About Kids Wordle

Building a strong vocabulary is important for children whether they are at school or learning at home. Unfortunately, popular word puzzles like Wordle, which can greatly help improve vocabulary, are mostly designed with adults in mind. If you look at many Wordle answers and target words, they often use more advanced adult vocabulary, making it harder for children to learn, enjoy, and pick up new words quickly.

That is why we created an alternative: a Wordle puzzle that focuses on simple, child-friendly words. This allows children to guess using vocabulary they already know while also learning new easy words that they can understand, remember, and use with confidence.

The gameplay remains the same as the traditional Wordle: you need to find a hidden five-letter word in six attempts. Each guess must be a valid English word, and after every attempt you receive feedback through colored tiles. Green means the letter is correct and in the right position, yellow means the letter is in the word but in the wrong position, and gray means the letter is not in the word at all.

Other kid-friendly Wordle variants we also recommend include Disney Wordle, Family Wordle, Christmas Wordle, and Christian Wordle.
